Carson City Sheriff's Office seeks identity of hit and run driver in crash with moped
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating and identifying a driver in a hit and run crash that happened Saturday, March 26, 2022 at approximately 6:55 p.m.
A white GMC pickup with a white utility shell was witnessed crashing into a moped at the intersection of Clearview Lane and Silver Sage Drive. A white male adult was seen exiting the vehicle and briefly checking on the rider of the moped before fleeing the scene. Witnesses were able to capture photos of the vehicle.
The rider of the moped was transported to Renown by Carson City Fire for suspected non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle is a white GMC pickup and white utility shell with Nevada license plates.
The driver is described as a white male adult possible in his 30’s, possibly short light brown hair or blond with a beard. Wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
