Masked pair steal wallet at Carson City Walmart, run up $2k on credit card at Douglas store
The Carson City Sheriff's Office Investigation Division is asking for the public's help identifying two people suspected of stealing a wallet from a Walmart shopper in Carson City and then using a credit card from the wallet at the Walmart store in Douglas County.
The suspected male and female thieves took advantage of the COVID-19 emergency to wear masks. The pair may be recognized, however, from their clothing as seen in the photos above. (Scroll through the photos and click to enlarge.)
The crime took place on March 31 at approximately 11 a.m., in Carson City. The couple then used credit cards from the wallet to steal at the Walmart store on Topsy Lane, Douglas County, at 11:58 a.m, charging more than $2,000 in merchandise.
