Carson City deputies arrest four men Thursday for active warrants
A 31-year-old Reno man was transferred from the Washoe County Jail to the Carson City Jail on a $20,000 harassment warrant and a parole and probation hold.
He was taken into custody without incident.
No bail due to parole and probation hold.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday morning on a failure to appear, contempt of court warrant out of Carson City Justice Court. He was arrested in the area of College Parkway and Challenger Way.
The man was arrested after deputies observed a vehicle driving northbound on N. Lompa in the right turn lane, and when the light turned green, it made an improper left turn onto College Parkway.
Deputies initiated a traffic stop and made contact with three subjects in the vehicle and ran a wants and warrants check through dispatch on all three. The 24-year-old passenger came back with a contempt of court warrant for failing to appear in Carson City Justice Court.
He was taken into custody without incident.
Bail: $1,000 cash only
— A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday afternoon in the area of Park and Carson Streets on a contempt of court warrant out of Carson City Justice Court.
Bail: $1,045 cash only
— SET Deputies arrested a 31-year-old transient man in the area of E. Sophia Street and N. Carson Street Thursday evening on a failure to appear warrant out of East Folk Township.
Deputies were in the area looking for another man with an active warrant arrest. Deputies made contact with the transient man and determined he was not the subject deputies were looking for; however, after running him for active wants and warrants, with the man’s permission, a warrant from East Fork came back.
He was arrested without incident.
Bail: $530, cash only
