Carson City's Shoe Tree Brewing named 'Nevada Brewery of the Year' at 2021 international competition
Shoe Tree Brewing in Carson City was awarded Nevada Brewery of the Year at the 2021 New York International Beer Competition after it Earns Double Gold, Gold and Bronze Medals. Over 800 beers were submitted from 14 countries to 30-plus categories to this years competition where winners were announced March 16.
Shoe Tree Brewing won 1 of only 11 Double Gold Medals awarded in the competition for its Coco Burrito Porter. They also won a Gold Medal for their 40 Mile Lager and a Bronze Medal for Wicked Shifty NE Sour IPA. This haul meant that Shoe Tree Brewing was named Nevada’s Brewery of the year in the competition.
Shoe Tree Brewing is a 7 barrel brewery located in Carson City that prides itself in brewing a wide variety of world class beers across all styles.

The New York International Beer Competition was excited with the quality and number of submissions we received in our 10th year. Over 800 submissions from around the world were submitted and judged by our trade buyer judges remotely.
