Carson and Eagle Valley Middle School Girls Introduced to Engineering
Nearly 50 female students from both Carson Middle and Eagle Valley Middle School participated in Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day (IGED) at the University of Nevada, Reno today.
The national event, or Girl Day, is a time when volunteers and educators act as role models, facilitate engineering activities and show young females how engineering is a great career choice and a great way to change the world.
