Carson City area casinos sees nearly 13 percent increase in January gaming revenue
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Tahoe saw gaming revenue, also known as "gaming win," amount to $9,779,657 for the month. In January 2020 the "gaming win" was $8,661,313.
Meanwhile, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe in Douglas County saw an 11.46 percent decrease in gaming revenue for the month. North Lake Tahoe casinos in Washoe County, however, reported a 23.77 percent increase in gaming win over January 2020 figures.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $761,847,813 for the month of January 2021. This amounts to a 26.58 percent decrease compared to January 2020, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,037,679,865.
