Carson City Board of Supervisors to hold special workshop Friday at Adams Hub
On Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, a special workshop of the Carson City Board of Supervisors will be held within the Studio at Adams Hub, located at 111 W. Proctor Street.
The workshop will begin at 8:15 a.m. The public may provide comment in advance of the meeting by emailing publiccomment@carson.org , and must include your full name and be submitted by no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday. Public comment during the meeting is limited to three minutes for each speaker.
The agenda items are as follows:
— Discussion and possible action regarding code enforcement functions, duties and activities in Carson City, including enforcement related to nuisance abatement and parking violations.
— Discussion and possible action regarding current and future funding priorities in Carson City redevelopment areas.
— Discussion and possible action regarding rules, policies or procedures governing special events in Carson City.
— Discussion and possible action regarding real property space and building needs for the location of various departments and elected offices of Carson City.
— Discussion, presentation and possible action regarding Carson City’s allocation of American Rescue Plan ("ARP") Fiscal Recovery Funds.
— Discussion and possible action regarding Carson City’s Arts & Culture Program, including the duties and authority of Carson City, the Cultural Commission and the Culture and Tourism Authority.
