Carson City area weather: Light snow Monday morning creates slick roads, more on the way
Light snow fell early Monday morning from Reno to Carson City and Dayton, Carson Valley and at Lake Tahoe making for slick road conditions and slow going on the highways.
Anywhere from a dusting to an inch or more fell around the region Monday morning, creating some road controls, according to NDOT. With Monday being a holiday, the good news is there's less traffic on the roadways.
There is some snow build up along Carson City side streets. Motorists should go slow.
