Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on South Nevada Street
UPDATE: According to CCFD Batallion Chief Chris Mason, the fire turned out to be lint in a lint trap that burned. There was no damage to the house and no damage to the dryer.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded late Monday morning to a reported structure fire in the 600 block of South Nevada Street.
At around 11 a.m. multiple engines were dispatched for reports of smoke coming from structure. Arriving first responders report the building was evacuated and that the smoke was coming from the laundry room.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies have blocked nearby streets to allow for engines to respond. South Nevada Street is blocked at 8th Street.
