Former Carson City Judge announces candidacy for Carson City supervisor position

Long-time Carson City judge Robey Willis announced his candidacy for the Ward Three seat on the Carson City Board of Supervisors.
The position, representing residents in north-eastern Carson City, is held by Stan Jones who has stated he will step down at the end of the current term.
Willis served as Justice of the Peace for four terms and two terms as a Trustee of the Carson City School Board. Among many honors Robey has been recognized as the "Man of the Year" by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, "Judge of the Year" by the Nevada Judges Association and the "Coach of the Year" by the Sierra Nevada Sportscasters and Broadcasters.
Willis is a tireless advocate for community causes, recently notable for inspiring and chairing the annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day for nine years and initiated and chaired the Nevada State 150th Anniversary Fair in Carson City.
"You know me--retirement doesn't suit me," Willis said. "I love Carson City but improvements can be made. I hope you will once again support me in our campaign to serve as your Supervisor."
