Carson City emergency crews respond to vehicle flipped on its side at aquatic center
Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Wednesday afternoon for a vehicle crash in the parking lot of the Carson City Aquatic Facility near Roop Street and Washington streets.
The crash involves a vehicle on its side with one person who was unable to get out. It was reported at around 2 p.m. A utility pole was also struck, according to first responders on scene. A second vehicle was also involved.
Firefighters on scene report the person inside the flipped vehicle did not appear to have suffered life-threatening injuries. They were extricated from the vehicle at 2:26 p.m.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
