Carson City Fire Department respond to early morning fire on Lukens Lane
Carson City Fire Department responded early Monday morning to a structure fire at a residence in the 2900 block of Lukens Lane.
At around 12:15 a.m. dispatch alerted the fire department of smoke coming from a residence. First responders on scene reported flames visible, smoke coming from the roof area and that the occupants of the residence had safely escaped the house.
A total of 19 firefighters were needed to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and damage to the home is estimated at $150,000, according to the Carson City Fire Department.
Mutual aid was provided by East Fork and Truckee Meadows fire districts. The second photo was taken by the Carson City Fire Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
