Brewery Arts Center's Musicale at The Maizie continues this week with two incomparable artists
The Brewery Arts Center will host another Musicale at The Maizie event this year on Feb. 12, 2022 at 7pm. This new singer/songwriter series in what was formerly the Maizie Harris Jesse Black Box Theater, now simple known as The Maizie has created quite the buzz amongst music enthusiasts throughout the region.
Musicale at Th eMaizie is performed in an intimate setting with local and touring singer/songwriters giving them an opportunity to connect with the audience, interact and discuss the creative process. The definition of musicale is “a musical gathering or concert, typically small and informal” and that is exactly what this series is intended to be.
This Saturday’s event will begin at 7pm with two enchanting performers, Jeshua Marshall and John Underwood.
Jeshua Marshall is a musical troubadour, with 18 years of experience writing, playing, singing and touring original music with Larry And His Flask and as a solo artist. He has performed in every state in the U.S., every province in Canada, 15 countries in Europe, and Palestine. Jeshua is a multi instrumentalist singer and songwriter. He channels pure punk rock passion from the records that spoke to him years ago as a kid in small town with big dreams.
John Underwood is a one man orchestra making sonic waves in an ocean of sound. His complex compositions are created by playing 12 instruments through loop pedals. No backing tracks are used, each layer is recorded live, inviting the audience on a singular musical journey from pure silence to punk symphony. When Underwood chooses to appear with bandmates besides himself, he can be found fronting The Deadly Gallows or lending his multi-instrumental prowess to Six Mile Station..
Masks will be required and tickets are $10 per person and available on our website breweryarts.org or more information and videos can be found on our Facebook page.
