WNC nursing program ranked 3rd in Nevada by RN tracking website
Western Nevada College in Carson City has been recognized by RegisteredNursing.org's annual RN Program State Rankings as the No. 3 best RN program in Nevada.
With a 95.46 score for WNC, RegisteredNursing.org ranked the top 5 nursing schools in Nevada by analyzing current and historical NCLEX-RN "pass rates" or the percentage of graduates who pass the exam, out of the 11 RN programs in the state, said Sally Worthington, outreach coordinator for RegisteredNursing.org, which tracks nursing programs throughout the country.
Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.
