Carson City man arrested for multiple violations of temporary protective order
A 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Saturday morning for multiple violations of a temporary protective order.
On Friday evening, deputies were dispatched to a residence to meet with a victim stating the man had attempted to make entry into her residence.
She told deputies she was able to keep the door closed, but then he began pounding on the door repeatedly. After he left the area, he began calling and sending her text messages.
The man has an active temporary protective order in place which began on Dec. 30 and is valid until Feb. 13.
She showed deputies her cell phone which contained multiple text messages that read as follows:
“Why wasn’t you guys there..your heartless”
“Spent our money”
“Your time coming”
“100”
“100”
“Everybody tlod me in the town…daid kick you out call her work..f*** it..”
“Your mean and I’ll show the world”
“Take off first..gp”
“Everybody know you how dontbto urban and your son”
“Can I get my money back?”
Deputies told the victim they would be sending the case to the DA’s office requesting a warrant to be issued. She said he had been texting her a lot, but she hadn’t filed any reports. Deputies told her every time he sends her a message or calls her it is a violation.
Just before midnight on Friday deputies stopped a vehicle for a possible drunk driver. It was the man involved in the protective order violation, and while they were attempting to read him his Miranda rights, he said he was “just going to his girl’s house down the road.”
Once at the jail, deputies called the phone number provided by the victim, which rang the phone on his person, confirming he had violated the TPO.
Bail: $1,137
