Carson City sheriff's deputies, fire department respond to incident determined to be a fall
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies and fire department paramedics were called Wednesday afternoon to an incident involving a woman at Northgate and Hot Springs Road that was determined to be a fall after first responders arrived.
The call into dispatch at around 4:22 p.m. initially came in as person who was possibly shot in the hand. The incident, however, was not a shooting but a woman who suffered a non-life threatening injury after a fall. Paramedics responding checked out the person and then took them by ground ambulance to the hospital.
Emergency response was slowed down after first responders determined it wasn't a shooting incident.
