Prescribed pile burning today south of Carson City below Spooner, smoke may be visible
As part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest’s fuels reduction efforts, prescribed pile burning will be taking place today in the Clear Creek drainage off U.S Highway 50 below Spooner Summit, two miles south of Carson City. Smoke may be visible from Highway 50, as well as from the Carson Valley.
