Advocates to End Domestic Violence in Carson City receives LDS food grant
Advocates to End Domestic Violence is the recipient of a $2,500 food grant from the Carson City Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This grant will allow AEDV to provide meals and canned goods to shelter clients in need throughout the year.
“We’re grateful for any and all community support for our programs and clients,” said AEDV Director, Lisa Lee. “Our pantry is always available to clients in our program. With the hardships that 2020 brought to many, we’re entering 2021 with bare shelves.”
The grant will allow AEDV to place orders with the Bishop’s storehouse as needed until November 2021. AEDV will use the grant in the short-term to supply holiday meals to shelter clients in need this season.
