Carson City Chamber rolls out welcome for Chick-fil-A ahead of Thursday opening
A pre-opening ribbon cutting was held by the Carson City Chamber on Tuesday, Jan. 19 to herald the grand opening of Carson City’s Chick-fil-A located at 4751 Cochise just off S. Carson Street turning on W. Appion Way and left on Cochise.
The new fast-food franchise is owned by Matt and Kelly Hock. The restaurant has hired 130 employees, 60 percent of whom are high school students.
Currently, only drive-thru will be available until restaurants can reopen safely. The hours are 6:30 am to 10 pm. Chick-fil-A will open Thursday, Jan. 21.
Helping Mr. Hock to cut the ribbon is his wife Kelly, Mayor Lori Bagwell, Assemblyman P.K. O’Neill, City board members Stacey Giomi, Maurice White and Lisa Schuette.
The Chamber was represented by Chair Rob Joiner and board members Lisa Lee, Kris Wells and Cliff Sorensen.
