News reports person taken into custody in Carson City

UPDATE 1:02AM: Multiple news sources, including South Tahoe Now and KOLO TV Channel 8 News Now, are now reporting that a person in connection with the investigation into a double homicide in South Reno is in custody, Washoe County Sheriff's spokesman Bob Harmon reportedly told the sources.
It was reported earlier that a connection had not yet been made with the information at hand.
Harmon also told South Tahoe Now that the individual in question was arrested on Woodside Drive in Carson City on charges of possession of stolen property. Harmon said the person is not necessarily a suspect for the murders, but is involved in some way with the investigation.
Earlier Saturday afternoon, a vehicle was removed and impounded from a South Carson Street parking lot in Carson City, Harmon told South Tahoe Now, and that is also thought to be connected to the investigation of the double homicide in Reno.
KOLO TV reports that Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said a male was arrested by deputies on an immigration charge in the parking lot.
Only one person was placed in custody during Saturday's investigations on South Carson Street and the Woodside Drive area in East Carson City, Furlong told KOLO TV.
No name has been released. A press conference is planned for Sunday, when more information will be released. Please check back for updates.
