University of Nevada, Reno announces two hour delay due to weather Tuesday
Following an assessment of the anticipated overnight weather and road conditions around the University of Nevada, Reno campus and area, a decision has been made to delay the start of nonessential campus operations (campus operations refers to any work performed at the main University campus, office, property, field work or sponsored events in Reno) until 10 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Wintermester classes will continue as scheduled convening at 10 a.m.
The Redfield campus, Building A at 18600 Wedge Pkwy., and the University of Nevada at Lake Tahoe location are also on a delay and will open at 10 a.m.
Please exercise abundant caution should you travel to and across campus and allow extra travel time. Also, please be cautious of snow and ice that may be on walkways.
The University will continue to keep an eye on the situation and monitor any changes.
