Knowing where you are when it comes to health and fitness is a challenge for many, but for residents of Northern Nevada, it just got a whole lot easier and convenient. Once only available in a mobile environment, Measured Fitness Lab is opening an office location right here in Carson City.

The new office, located inside Forever Young MD Spa on Minnesota Street, will offer their 4 advanced services at the same affordable price, that will show you personally where you're at, giving you an accurate baseline you can trust and take action on!

Opening on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1 p.m., the lab will feature the non-invasive and information packed Fit3D Body Scanner, the world's most popular 3D scanner (and the only one in Carson City)! The amount of information you learn about yourself individually is like no other measurement tool you have likely ever used!

You will find out your physical body measurements, body fat %, body composition, accurate body weight, and more including a posture/balance analysis and a personal 360 degree 3D image. The best part is, it only takes 45 seconds to get all of this information, which you then have access to anytime, anywhere with your own private, cloud-based portal where all of your scans will be stored and available for you to compare side by side.

Also offered are other hard to find (and often times much more expensive) services, such as the Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) and VO2 Max tests. The RMR gives you an accurate reading of how many calories you personally burn in a 24 hour period while at rest. This will help you stay on track and how your metabolism is performing. VO2 Max will add to that information by showing how many calories you burn at various heart rates during exercise, along with what your optimal heart rate to burn fat vs. carbohydrates for fuel and give you detailed ways to improve your health and endurance by creating custom workout zones.

The Food Intolerance/Nutrient Deficiency & Heavy Metals Test offered is super quick and non-invasive. It allows you to find out how your body personally reacts to exposure to a range of foods, environmental items, heavy metals, and, in turn provides you with detailed explanations and instructions on how to help you re-balance your body. This could help lessen or eliminate many side effects that currently most people just live with and don't know that it is caused by those items. The lab uses a hair-based analysis to test:

300 food and 300 non-food (environmental) items for intolerance
26 vitamins and minerals for deficiency and
50 Heavy metals for exposure levels (toxicity)

For December, in honor of the Grand Opening, Measured Fitness Lab is offering 20% off of each service by using a coupon code "DEC20" on their website. For more information (including hours, descriptions of services, and pre-testing requirements for RMR and VO2 Max), to book services and more, go to: www.measuredfitnesslab.com. They will be open Wednesday-Friday's from 1:00pm-5:00pm during December (excluding holidays).

The mobile fitness testing truck that started it all is still available for events of all kinds, including wellness events, small and large business/office events, health fairs, school or government events, and even private residence visits. The mobile lab can accommodate many custom event requests and can help businesses set up challenges for employees. For more information on the mobile lab, see the Measured Fitness Lab website.

Measured Fitness Lab is proud to expand in Northern Nevada and appreciates all of the support received from the Northern Nevada community in the nearly 2 years they have been in business.
