Carson High Wrestling Kicks Off Season with Oktoberfest Fundraiser
The leaves have changed color and the temperature has begun to drop; as quickly as Summer seemed to arrive this year, the Fall season has rolled right on in.
The change of season can mean a lot of different things to people; but to Nick Redwine, Fall means the beginning of the wrestling season. Nick Redwine was named the new head coach to the Varsity wrestling team at Carson High School this past Spring and he has been preparing ever since.
Coach Redwine's first step for the program will be hosting the first annual "Senators Oktoberfest Takedown Dinner" on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the McFadden Plaza in Carson City.
The dinner will begin at 5 P.M. and will go til 9 P.M.
The food for this occasion will be provided by Q's BBQ and All-You-Can-Drink Craft Beer will be provided by some local brewers.
The night will also include a silent auction, raffle, and a DJj. Expect to see Coach Redwine and the rest of his coaching staff to be hanging out and meeting the community.
All high school programs thrive off community support, so please come down and show support for a great program. Tickets for this event are $25 and can be purchased at the door or by reaching out to Adriana Juarez at (775)-297-1488.
