Tech Shield welcomes new senior tech
Tech Shield welcomes Karen P. to their team. Karen is a high school graduate and is currently a student at Western Nevada College pursuing a career in nursing with a minor in IT.
Karen has been part of the Carson City community by being part of the JNROTC team at Carson High for four years and leading several community service projects.
Karen loves helping people and fixing things. She says that being in two different fields allows her to see from different perspectives. She constantly asks herself, how can we develop better technology to help those in need?
When we asked Karen what is the favorite part of her job she responded, "I love to welcome people with a smile because they come in with a worried face; because they broke their phone, or lost family pictures due to water damage on their phones or iPad. I want to reassure them that I will do everything in my hands to fix their phone and get those precious memories back to them."
Hence, Tech Shield is proud to have Karen as part of the team.
You can bring your broken phone/tablet to Karen at Tech Shield, located at 201 E. William St #5 in Carson City.
