Backpack drive for Dayton area school students underway
Dayton Urgent Care is seeking community donations for its annual backpack and supply drive for this coming school year. We are collecting backpack and school supplies for grades K-12. We are also collecting hygiene products as well along with clothes, shoes and socks.
Last year we had many items donated for this drive and a lot of kids got to start the new school year with items that they needed such as pencils, pens, paper, crayons, notebooks and backpacks.
We are always thankful to the Dayton, Silver Springs, Stagecoach communities and appreciate all that they do for helping out the kids and families in the community.
We will be holding the backpack drive now until the beginning of September. We are collecting hygiene products, clothes, shoes and sock year round as those items are always needed.
Items can be dropped off at Urgent Care, 901 Medical Center Drive, Dayton.
