Carson City Kiwanis moves weekly meetings to The Martin Hotel
Carson City Kiwanis moved its weekly meeting to The Martin Hotel. The decision to move was not a difficult one as The Martin Inn has an excellent meeting facility located in the back of its restaurant.
Carson City Kiwanis members are excited about the move as the room is large enough to grow, invite guests, and be able to stay in downtown Carson City. As Carson City Kiwanis celebrates its 60-year anniversary, it looks to continue to be a great service club in this great community.
In 1959, a small group of business leaders formed the Kiwanis Club of Carson City, lovingly known as Carson City Kiwanis. The club began its tradition of leadership in community service with the contribution of hands on service and monetary donations to organizations who served children, youth, the elderly and the disabled.
Today, Kiwanis offers an opportunity for leadership and involvement in the improvement of our community. Meetings and projects develop and use leadership skills, expand business contacts and achieve a sense of accomplishment while enjoying a sincere and lasting fellowship.
Carson City Kiwanis invites you to attend an upcoming meeting. Meetings take place on Thursdays at noon, now at The Martin Hotel, 308 N Curry St. Visit www.carsoncitykiwanis.org to find out more about the club, its giving, and its service.
