Carson City's FISH asks for help to continue to serve community
Even though Friends In Service Helping or FISH, has been part of the community for over 40 years, a lot of people still don't know that FISH is more than just a thrift store.
99% of FISH's budget comes from thrifts store sales, local donors, foundations, and banks with only 1% in funding coming from the government, which helps us to keep our shelters open. But with our thrift stores closed to ensure the safely of our employees and the public, FISH is losing out on 20% of our income every month. This money funds our Family Dining Room, our three food banks, laundry services, showers, the Ross Clinic, our shelters and more!
Please consider donating by sending a check to 138 E long St Carson City, NV 89706 or online at www.nvfish.com, like and share our Facebook page at www.facebook/nvfish. Thank you so much for helping us to help our community!
We'd also like to thank everyone who has come out to help us in the dining room with cooking, serving, and cleaning during this difficult time! We couldn't do what we do without your help!
