Scott Hoen announces bid for Carson City Clerk Recorder
Scott Hoen, an expert with three decades of experience in public and private sector finance, as well as a depth of knowledge of government operations, filed the necessary paperwork to run for Carson City Clerk Recorder.
Mr. Hoen, who has both a BA and MBA, has an extensive background collaborating with multiple Clerk Recorders across the country while working in the title insurance field.
This knowledge of the inner workings of the Clerk’s Office, combined with his work in the latest Caron City Election cycle, make him a strong candidate for Carson City Clerk Recorder.
“I can hit the ground running on ‘Day One.’ Thankfully for Carson City voters I know the office. My experience means I won’t need on the job training. My first order of business: secure elections. I’ll abide by the recently passed legislation by the Nevada Legislature and Nevada Secretary of State rules and regulations to manage the office in an open, honest, and transparent manner,” said Hoen.
In addition to having the responsibility of operating secure elections, the Carson City Clerk is the Recorder managing the process of public record filings. Hoen's extensive technology background is a plus when looking at tools to automate processes and provide better public access to records.
