Carson City Parks and Recreation hosts Winter Full Moon Hike Feb. 27

This upcoming Saturday, February 27, is your one opportunity this winter to Join the Carson City Park Rangers for a moonlit hike underneath the "Snow Moon."

We will be adventuring up to the Boy Scout Overlook on Prison Hill from the 5th St. Trailhead and learning about the cultural history of Prison Hill.

The hike is considered "More Difficult" under the IMBA Trail Rating system. Expect moderate terrain and sandy sections along a two mile loop. Group runtimes and signup links are provided below!

Keep in mind that the CCPROS Full Moon Hikes are now seasonal programs and only happen 4 times a year!
