Carson City CASA to host Volunteer Information Hour this Wednesday
A Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained volunteer appointed by a judge to speak up for the best interests of children in foster care. CASA Volunteers are Everyday Heroes who come from all walks of life and serve as the eyes and ears of the Court.
CASA of Carson City is looking for new volunteers to work with our youth currently in foster care.
Please join us for a brief Information Hour, Meet and Greet where you can come speak with active CASAs and the Executive Director. Tour our building and see how we serve our youth in foster care through our Foster Kid's Closet, supplying school supplies and other items to support children in need.
Bring a friend! Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the CASA Office.
Please contact Executive Director, Melanie McCormick, with any questions: CASA Office
