Tahoe Adventure Film Festival Feb. 23 in Minden
The Douglas High School Interact Club is bringing the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival to the Carson Valley on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
The festival will screen at the CVIC at 1604 Esmeralda Avenue in Minden with doors opening at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. showing. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, and are available at the door. Refreshments will be available for purchase and a raffle will be held.
The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival is a fast-paced, high-energy evening of highlights from the best adventure sports films of the year.
The festival organizers receive submissions from all over the Action Sports World, and select the best to create this collection of 10-12 minute clips of the 10 best films of the year.
The Adventure Film Festival is the major fundraiser of the year for the Interact Club, which is the youth arm of Rotary International, and is sponsored by the Minden Rotary at Douglas High School.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support service programs to benefit the school and the community. In the past, Interact has supported Project Santa Claus, Backpack Buddies, and Douglas High School students in need.
