NHP joins law enforcement forces in statewide effort to arrest impaired drivers

Beginning Thursday through Feb. 13, law enforcement agencies, including Carson City Sheriff's Office, will be Joining Forces on the lookout for the dangerous driving behaviors of impaired drivers.

The next Carson City Board of Supervisor’s meeting will take place Thursday, Feb. 4 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room in the Carson City Community Center, located at 851 E. William Street.
Among agenda items for discussion include a new or improved Juvenile Detention Center, a lease for the Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, whether or not to sell delinquent properties and more.

A 20-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday for a felony warrant alleging grand theft auto, a Carson City Sheriff's Office report states.

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 that there is 1 additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region. CCHHS is also reporting 12 new cases and 93 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region.
