Stockton men jailed after Douglas undercover officers buy large amounts of heroin, meth
Douglas County authorities arrested four Stockton, Calif., men Wednesday who were allegedly involved in a large scale drug dealing operation after an investigation by under cover narcotics officers led to the purchase of 170 grams of heroin, 50 grams of methamphetamine and a handgun.
On Wednesday, Douglas County Street Enforcement Team, Tri-Net Taskforce, along with the support of the Nevada National Guard’s Counterdrug Task Force made arrests in an ongoing Narcotics Investigation, said Douglas County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Pat Brooks.
DCSET had received information that drug dealers from the Stockton area where attempting to sell drugs/narcotics and firearms in the Douglas County area. The information received was the drug dealers were looking to “set up shop” in Douglas County, said Brooks.
After a several month investigation, undercover narcotic officers were able to purchase the heroin, methamphetamine and a weapon. The investigation resulted in the arrest of four persons from the Stockton area for trafficking and sales of narcotics.
The four suspects arrested are: Carlos Honable, 23, William Anyaogu Elendu, 23, Joseph Kieshawn Gaines, 26, and Bryan Alexander Harrison, 24.
