Just before noon on Saturday, deputies were alerted one of Carson City’s local wild horse herds were causing a bit of a traffic issue along College Parkway by the Sonic.
Thirteen horses decided to take their lunch grazing on the grass in front of 3476 College Parkway, creating a traffic hazard.
A team of wild horse advocates has been dispatched to encourage the herd to find their lunch elsewhere.
Motorists should expect delays and should seek other routes if possible until the herd moseys along.
