Carson City sheriff's booking report: Argument over 'unannounced' guests leads to arrest
A 19-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery, a Carson City sheriff's office booking report states.
According to the arrest report deputies were called to a Woodside Drive residence in reference to threats and a report of a domestic battery.
Deputies met with the male victim, who stated he lives with his ex-girlfriend and advised the two had been arguing about unannounced guests that were brought to the apartment. He told the officer that their living situation has been hostile since they broke up, with neither electing to leave the apartment.
He stated the woman began screaming at him and shoved him in the chest with both hands, and threatened to have a relative "take care" of him. The victim felt he was being threatened for having called 911. The victim did not sustain injuries during the altercation, the arrest report states.
As the officer was speaking with the victim, the woman drove by the apartment without stopping. The officer caught up to her and asked her to return to the apartment to talk about the situation.
Once back she confirmed that the living situation has been tense and that she has deliberately tried to make things difficult so that he would move out. The woman stated she and the male were in an argument because he brought an unannounced friend to the apartment, and that she shoved him in the chest with both hands.
The deputy advised the woman that he was obligated to make an arrest due to her admission of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
