A WNC student is alleging the course requirements issued by the instructor of a human sexuality class constitute sexual harassment.
One assignment given by instructor Tom Kubistant that 60-year-old student Karen Royce took exception to was to masturbate at twice her usual rate and write about the experience.
“I joked, but was serious and said, ‘I don't masturbate, so zero times zero is zero!'” said Royce in her complaint.
While more than 300 students have taken the class over the past three years without complaint, a couple of professionals in the field question some of the instructor's methods.

Carson High girls' cross country team won its 10th state title Saturday, despite being 35-point underdogs. Alex Drozdoff finished in second place, and Cindy Juchtzer placed eighth. The Carson High girls' soccer team also won the 4A regional championship yesterday, beating rival Douglas 2-1.

A 15-year-old Carson High School student was arrested for giving marijuana-laced cookies to four of her classmates.
Unfortunately for this would-be pot confectionaire, the dosage of THC in her cookies appeared to be more than her friends could handle, and they went to the school nurse because they felt sick. At one point, a drug-sniffing dog was brought in, and the canine found the bag the cookies had been in.
