Carson Creepy Film Festival this Saturday at BAC
Aspiring teams of budding Carson City area filmmakers are hard at work this week developing and putting the final touches entries for the Carson Creepy Film Festival, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, 6 p.m. at the Brewery Arts Center.
From comedy to horror, teams were given one week to make a film within the genres of Ghost, Halloween, Monster, Psychological Thriller, Sci Fi, Spiders/Insects, Vampire, Witches, Zombie. All may lean to comedy or horror.
Winners of the Film Festival’s Mummy Awards will be determined by the following judging criteria: Acting, Plot or Story, Technical/Effects, Use of genre ingredients, Best Picture Overall.
There will be prizes for costumes at intermission. Some films will be shown on public access television.
