Carson City sheriff's arrest log: Woman jailed on felony burglary warrant
A 33-year-old woman, Lisa Michelle Vantine, was booked into jail Friday, 9 a.m. on a felony burglary warrant issued Jan. 16, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $20,000.
In other arrests: A 25-year-old Carson City man, Stig Strong, was booked into jail Thursday, 10:40 p.m. on two felony failure to appear warrants issued for his arrest out of Carson City District Court and the Second Judicial District Court in Washoe County. He’s being held without bail pending a hearing.
— A 33-year-old Carson Cit man was arrested Friday, 3:28 a.m. in the area of Rand and Long streets on misdemeanor charges of failure to appear in traffic court and speeding. Bail: $282.
— A 20-year-old Mound House woman was arrested Friday, 1:10 a.m. in the area of Sage Drive and Hot Springs road on a misdemeanor charges of domestic battery second offense, and criminal contempt.
According to the arrest report, deputies respond to the area of 600 Hot Springs Road on a report of a battery and learned the woman attempted to key a car belonging to her husband, in which the couple is separated. The victim received injuries from the keys, including scratching along the right upper arm and bicep area which caused bleeding. The woman was arrested. It was discovered that she had a prior domestic violence conviction in September 2014. Bail: $5,637.
— A 22-year-old Dayton woman was booked into jail Thursday, 4:30 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued June 3, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 27-year-old Topaz, Calif., man was booked into jail Thursday, 6:12 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant charge of violation of a suspended sentence issued Sept. 28, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 7:54 p.m. in the 3600 block of East Nye on a misdemeanor charge, violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
— A Gardnerville man was booked into jail Thursday, 1 p.m. on misdemeanor warrants for petit larceny. Bail: $1,000.
