Carson City firefighters called to fully engulfed travel trailer fire off Sneddon Way
UPDATE 3:05PM: Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon reports the travel trailer was destroyed in the fire. The adjacent house had heat damage to the siding and eaves. There was not any extension of fire into the residence. No one was injured. The cause remains under investigation.
To correct the record, the calls came into dispatch as a motorhome on fire. It turned out it was a travel trailer.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Monday afternoon to a motor home travel trailer on fire threatening nearby structures in the area of Roberta and Sneddon Way in East Carson City.
Multiple calls came into Carson City dispatch just before 2:10 p.m. regarding the motorhome that was on fire next to a residence.
Arriving Carson City Fire Department personnel report the motorhome was fully engulfed with flames and a nearby residence was threatened. Firefighters classified the fire as a "working incident" and ordered additional units.
NV Energy has also been notified as the fire had gotten into power lines, according to a Carson City Fire Department battalion chief.
The road is closed on both sides of Roberta and Sneddon Way. People should avoid the area.
The cause of the fire is not known. A fire investigator has been called to the scene.
