Carson City detectives release surveillance photos of Subway armed robbery suspect
Carson City sheriff’s investigators have released surveillance photos of the suspect in the Thursday morning armed robbery of the Subway at Winnie Lane and North Carson Street.
The suspect is around 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 10 inches in height, with blond hair and was wearing a mask. He robbed the restaurant at gunpoint shortly before 9:55 a.m. taking cash from the business and a customer before fleeing on foot.
Deputies responded to Subway located at 100 West Winnie Lane in Carson City Nevada for an armed robbery. A white male entered the store pointing a handgun at the customers and demanded money, said Carson City Sheriff's Office Lt. Brian Humphrey.
Three employees and one customer were inside during the robbery. No one was injured during the incident and the suspect was not located during a search of the area by law enforcement. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the business and the wallet of the customer, Humphrey said.
The suspect was described as: White male adult, 5’7 to 5’10 in height, stocky build, wearing a two toned colored baseball style hat, sunglasses, mask covering his mouth and nose area, dark colored t-shirt, light colored blue jeans, and tennis shoes.
