Carson City Parks and Recreation's new mobile friendly software kicks in Sept. 4
On Sept. 4 Carson City Parks and Recreation's registration site, ActiveNet, will be upgraded to a new Customer User Interface. Parks and Recreation uses ActiveNet for many of the daily functions such as pool memberships, class and sport league registrations, out-of-school time programs, and facility rentals.
Everyone is excited to upgrade to a new interface and while it includes many great new features and enhancements, we think there are two specific changes that you will be excited about. With ActiveNet's new Customer User Interface, you will be able to have an improved registration experience, both online and on a mobile device.
The first thing you will notice is the modern user interface; it is more intuitive, better organized and visually appealing.
Buttons such as Big, Add to Cart and Add to Wish List will be easier to identify. Another change that may be noticed is that the site will no longer allow users to create an account using a username to log in. Instead, all new users must use their email address to log in. If you already have a username to log in with, you should be able to still use that method.
By having this change, it will reduce the amount of multiple accounts a family may have.
The next exciting update is that our site will be mobile friendly! On September 4th, you will be able to easily search for an activity, get activity details, register and pay. It will be easier than ever for our on-the-go participants.
Following our September 4th release, there will continue to be small visual changes on the site to reflect our individual programs and facility rentals.
Everyone at Carson City Parks & Recreation is excited for this upgrade, and we hope you are too! Should you have any difficulties logging in or navigating through the site, please feel free to contact us at 775-887-2290 Monday-Friday.
