Carson City area elementary students treated to rare solar eclipse
Elementary students in Carson City were given the rare opportunity Monday morning to view the solar eclipse on their first day of school.
The Carson City School District purchased viewing glasses for all elementary students to safely see and experience this natural and scientific wonder of our solar system.
In these photos, students at Al Seeliger Elementary School spent Monday morning outside wearing solar eclipse safety glasses and were able to view the rare solar event.
