We received a report that Jim Phalan, owner of the Firkin & Fox and High Sierra Brewery, was attacked Friday night while walking in downtown Carson City.
Phalen wrote about the attack on his Facebook page:
I'm sure some of you may know that I got jumped last night in between the blue bull and Kim lees sushi on telegraph and 395. I'm okay. I have a shattered nose and a broken foot that both need surgery, received 3
Staples for a gash on the back of my head, 5 stitches on my bottom lip both inside and out and several stitches on my nose where the bone came out plus, a pretty bad concussion.
In the comments of that post, Phalan said he knows who the attackers are and is planning to press charges.
