Suspect in Carson City auto parts store robbery in custody, second suspect remains at large
UPDATE 1:50PM: Carson City Sheriff's Office detectives have released the name and a photo of the suspect who remains at large following Monday's armed robbery of the O'Reilly Auto Parts store on North Carson Street. Jermaine Jordan is the second suspect, considered armed and dangerous and wanted for armed robbery.
Detectives say he may have fled Carson City for Stockton or Oakland, California, Oregon or Boise, Idaho.

A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday at a Sparks casino in connection with the Monday night robbery at O’Reilly Auto Parts on North Carson Street.
Anthony Melendrez was taken into custody in the 2100 block of Victorian Avenue in Sparks at 8:06 p.m. He's charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held at Carson City Jail on $100,000 bail. A second suspect remains at large.
According to the arrest report, deputies assigned with the Carson City Special Enforcement Team learned Melendrez had been seen at the casino and went to it in reference to a warrant for the armed robbery.
A Carson City detective, a Tri-Net officer along with Sparks Police Department located Melendrez in the casino and placed him into custody.
The robbery happened at around 10 p.m. Monday after the store had closed. Clerks told investigators that two men entered the back of the auto parts store, presented a pistol and baseball bat and then robbed the store of its daily intake money.
One suspect remains at large. He is described as a black male approximately 5'8"-5'10" with a slim build and was wearing a blue and gray sweatshirt with blue jeans.
The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash in a dark SUV with large chrome rims.
