Carson City's Cracker Box restaurant honored for the second year by Trip Advisor

Carson City’s Cracker Box has received the Tripadvisor.com Award of Excellence for 2014. The award recognizes restaurants that consistently receive high ratings from travelers and that rank in the top performing 10 percent of businesses worldwide. The diner also received the award in 2013.
Jerry Massad, who has owned the Cracker Box for more than 34 years, says the award is the result of his great staff.
“I’m lucky to have a great team working at the Box” he said, adding, “They are the reason we’ve been in business as long as we have. I couldn’t do it without them.”
Lead cook Adam Romo says the customers are the best part of his job. “We have so many great customers, it’s so nice to get to know them over the years. We love meeting our new customers as well. We want them to be happy and enjoy their meal. We all want to keep them coming back.”
The Cracker Box has topped many “best of” lists over the years, including being named Best of the West by the readers of AAA’s Via Magazine.
The Cracker Box is located at 402 E. William Street in Carson City and is open 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
