Carson City Historical Society Seeks Teapots for Exhibit in July
The Carson City Historical Society is looking for unusual teapots it can borrow for its free Teapot Exhibit from July 1 through July 31, 2015, at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum, 1207 N. Carson St., Carson City. The teapots can be unique in some fashion: quaint, various sizes, elegant or funky.
Teapots on loan will be for display only. Some of the teapots on display will be from the Museum's own collection and are used for Sunday Afternoon Teas, such as those scheduled for August 9 and October 11.
Admission to the Teapot Exhibit will be free. Hours of the exhibit will be announced shortly. For for more information, call Paula Cannon, 775-887-8865. For information about other Carson City Historical Society activities, see CCHistorical.org.
Four of the "resident" china and stoneware teapots at the Foreman-Roberts House Museum will be joined by other teapots on loan to the Museum for the Teapot Exhibit in July.
