Carson City emergency crews called to Woodside and Continental after man falls from vehicle
UPDATE 8:30PM: Two incidents that happened within minutes of each other Thursday night sent two people to the hospital via Care Flight, a Carson City sheriff's sergeant said.
A man sustained serious injuries after falling off a moving vehicle in the area of Woodside and Continental. The driver of the vehicle was stopped and the incident is under investigation, said CCSO Sgt. Bill Richards.
In the second incident, DUI is suspected after a woman lost control of her vehicle and drove it into an Airport Road residential garage. A person living inside the residence in an upstairs unit was injured and taken to Carson Tahoe Hospital, said Richards. The female driver reportedly suffered serious injuries and was flown by Care Flight.

Carson City emergency crews are responding to a vehicle incident Thursday night at Woodside and Continental after a man apparently fell from a vehicle and is reportedly to have suffered serious injuries, according to dispatch.
The incident happened at around 7:20 p.m. and involves a man who reportedly was hanging onto a moving vehicle, and fell off, causing serious injuries, reportedly bleeding from the head. The vehicle that was involved was stopped and the driver interviewed. The matter is under investigation said Sgt. Bill Richards.
Multiple units were called to the incident. Care Flight was ordered and flew the patient to Renown Medical Center from the Carson City Airport.
There was also a vehicle crash at around the same time at Airport Road where Care Flight was also called. A vehicle reportedly hit a house, injuring the driver. We do not know the details of this crash.
