Greenhouse Project at Carson High hosts Mother’s Day plant sale Saturday
The community is invited to the annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale, hosted by The Greenhouse Project, Saturday, May 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Carson High School in Carson City.
There will be an array of plants ready for your garden: tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, melons, herbs, squash, annual and perennial flowers and more, as well as seeds to start your own. TGP will also have a limited number of petunia-laden flower baskets available.
Full Circle Compost will also be on hand with their premium line of organic soils, Bag Lady Totes Co. will offer totes made from recycled feed bags, and The Monarch Society will be selling milkweed plants to create wonderful habitat for Monarch butterflies and bees.
Capital FFA will have coffee and donuts available as well.
The facility is located at 1111 N. Saliman St., behind the high school bus yard (E. Robinson Street entrance).
