Name the Resort’s Viking Trio and Win an All-inclusive Conference at Lake Tahoe
TAHOE CITY — Granlibakken Conference Center & Lodge looks to meeting planners to grab victory by the horns and come up with a name for the resort’s Viking Trio.
Through May 5, 2010, meeting planners or individuals from any company or industry can enter the contest online with their most creative moniker for the Viking Ambassadors at http://tinyurl.com/groupcontest. The grand prize winner will receive a free conference at Granlibakken valued at $20,010, including breakfast, lunch and dinner; coffee breaks; complimentary cocktails; state-of-the-art meeting facilities and resort lodging and activities.
Check out photos of Granlibakken’s Vikings, review contest rules, and learn more about the Lake Tahoe resort at http://granlibakken.com/viking_new.php. Hear more from the Vikings via Facebook and Twitter.
“By offering a new, meeting-specific contest we hope to reach industry conference planners looking for a unique, inclusive property at Lake Tahoe and of course have some fun with our Viking theme,” said Kay Williams, general manager.
Why Vikings? Granlibakken – Norwegian for “hillside sheltered by fir trees,” was founded by Scandinavian ski jumpers. The Viking trio will demonstrate the property’s desirable amenities for vacationers as well as business groups, such as scalable high speed internet, wide bandwidth (up to 20 MB), flexible meeting space, LCD projectors with plasma screens and a plethora of outdoor resort activities.
