Missing teen case from Mono County concludes Tuesday on Dr. Phil show
A Mono County missing juvenile case is the basis of two "Dr. Phil" television programs. The first aired Monday and the second will air today, Tuesday.
Karlie Lain Guse is a 16-year-old white female, who was last seen near her home in Chalfant, Calif., on Saturday Oct. 13 2018, where it is believed she walked away leaving her belongings behind.
The Dr. Phil program will investigate the case further with Karlie's father, Zac, stepmother, Melissa and mother Lindsay joining the conversation and providing their sides of the story and what they believed happened the day Karlie disappeared.
Dr. Phil McGraw is a well-known mental health professional and is the host of the daytime talk show "Dr. Phil."
Now in its 17th season, the show presents compelling stories about real people with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems and provides a comprehensive forum of mental health issues providing information based on evidence-based treatment options and state-of-the-art research in the fields of psychology, psychiatry and medicine.

Mono County authorities say there were sightings of the 16-year-old in the area of White Mountain Estates Road and Highway 6 around 7 to 7:30 a.m. She was wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants. She is 5'07'', weighs 110 pounds, dark blond and blue eyes.
Karlie has been added to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She does not meet the criteria for an AMBER alert as there is no evidence or indication of an abduction.
Mono County authorities encourage all to continue to share the missing person flyer and photos of Karlie and appreciate helpful suggestions and welcome any information that will lead to the finding of Karlie and bringing her home safely to her family.
